Let's hug

You can tell a lot about a persons feelings by a hug. Do you ever think about it? Whether a hug meant anything when it was suppose to or whether a certain hug went for too long and etc. I find it interesting so i came up with what i think different hugs mean and the definition of the hug.

The pat-a-back hug:
The hug where you or the other person pats on the back. My definition: you don't really like this person, and vice versa, but you thought you'd be friendly. The pat indicating you want the hug to hurry and end. Or i guess some people are just back-patters.

The awkward hug:
The hug where you don't know if you're suppose to hug then if you do you don't know whether your arms go over or under and when you finally hug, there's that awkward tension. My definition: you're awkward. Go away. Nah, honestly i really don't know. I guess it happens with people who haven't seen each other in a long time and you kind of lost that close friendship or what not and to people who've never hugged before.

The empty hug:
The hug where you hug but you get a gut feeling that the other person doesn't feel any emotion towards you and it doesn't bother them if they hug you or not. When you hug it's just a hug. No emotion what so ever. Definition: they see you as a friend and don't think the hug is suppose to mean anything.

The long hug:
The hug where it goes longer then a regular hug. Definition: neither of you want to let go so your just there hugging or your clueless on to when to let go.

The sorry hug:
Like the long hug, this goes for ages. Meaningful and either of you end up laying your head on the other person's shoulder. The definition is within the name. You are either apologising for something you have done to them or you have sympathy towards them and are comforting them.

The quickie hug:
A hug that's quick. They just put your arms around and that's it. Nothing more. Definition: they are rushing to get somewhere, they just generally hug like that or they don't feel comfortable hugging you.

The hug-tight:
The hug where the other person hugs tight; squeezes you. The hug is meaningful. Definition: they love you/they miss you or they wanna get in yo panties. Heh.

That's all i have so far and really can't think of more. My mind is everywhere and no where. But yeah, hug's are much more meaningful then you'd think. You could probably find the answer to a question you'd been pondering about someone or how a person feels today and stuff. I like hugs.
